Massage Therapy

Therapeutic Massage to relieve tension, restore mobility, and bring the body back into balance.

Massage therapy is an effective way to release tension, improve circulation, and support recovery from pain or stress.

Each treatment is tailored to your body — targeting specific areas of discomfort while addressing overall balance and alignment.

I draw from a range of techniques including deep tissue, myofascial release, trigger point therapy, and cupping, which I incorporate as needed to encourage deeper release.

My approach blends technical precision with intuitive listening — working with your body rather than against it.

The result is a treatment that’s both therapeutic and restorative: firm enough to resolve long-held tension, yet grounded in awareness of the nervous system so your body can truly let go.

Ready to move with more ease and less tension?

If during your intake or throughout the treatment I feel another modality could enhance your results – such as Craniosacral Therapy – I’ll suggest we integrate it into your session or explore it as a future treatment.

For those seeking a deeper mind-body-spirit reset, you can also book a 90-minute combination session that ends with a relaxing Sound Bath, offering deep release and integration for the whole system.

Massage can address both acute and chronic patterns of pain and imbalance. Common benefits include:

  • Relief from muscle and joint pain

  • Reduced stress and improved recovery

  • Increased mobility and flexibility

  • Better posture and body awareness

  • Enhanced circulation and lymphatic flow

  • Support for overall nervous system regulation

Lori knows her stuff. Compared to other massage therapists I’ve seen, who gingerly try to relax me, Lori actually sources the issue and gets in there! She truly wants to fix you, and will do everything in her power to do so! She listens to what you ask and uses her own knowledge and variety of healing skills to support her clients. I recommend her over and over again! Once you go to Lori, you’ll never see another RMT.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is cupping and how is it different from massage?

All the benefits of a deep tissue massage for chronic pain and tightness with less pain and more long lasting results.

Using plastic cups with valves and a hand pump to create negative pressure, this style of cupping is like a reverse massage. Instead of applying pressure and compressing the tissue, the cups pull the tissue up, increasing blood flow and delivering oxygen to the muscles and fascia.

This treatment helps to stretch, restructure and release fascia, adhesions and scar tissue as well as release trigger points. The cups may be moved along the body in a gliding motion or left in a static position to treat a trigger point or adhesion.

There is no heat or fire used in this style and many people find it relaxing. Typically there is minimal to no marking left on the body with these cups.

Can I have cupping done if I am pregnant?
Yes! Depending on where you are in your pregnancy it is safe to have cupping done, we just have to modify where we do it. I generally will not do cupping on the lower back or sacrum area until the last few weeks of pregnancy.
Can you do deep tissue? Can you really get in there?
Yes, if it is necessary. Although sometimes less is more. I intuitively work with your body to find the pressure that is right for you.
